The base 2.3L EcoBoost® engine generates 315 horsepower and 350 lb.-ft. of torque, providing substantial power through turbocharged architecture. This engine is engineered with Modular Power Cylinder (MPC) technology, which enhances combustion efficiency and performance. 

For those seeking higher output, the Gen-4 5.0L Coyote™ V8 engine found in GT models produces 480 horsepower and 418 lb.-ft. of torque. This naturally aspirated engine is designed for immediate throttle response and sustained torque delivery. 

The Mustang® Dark Horse™ model offers an exclusive version of the 5.0L Coyote™ V8. Modifications to the intake and exhaust enable this engine to deliver 500 horsepower and 418 lb.-ft. of torque, making it the highest-performing naturally aspirated powertrain available in the current lineup.
